It All Takes Time

Ever saw a sprout blooming out of the Earth

Water it with all your money's worth,

But it will grow into a tree,

Only when it's supposed to be.

It does take time,

It all takes time.

You can't master a skill,

With just one time's thrill.

You'll get the hold of it,

When you've practiced it bit by bit.

It does take time,

It all takes time.

As much as you'd like to see stars in the day,

There's only one that you may.

You've got to wait until the night,

To see them fill the sky, sparkling with light.

It does take time,

It all takes time.

See the difference that patience makes,

And persevere till the time it takes.

Give it all that you've got,

If it's supposed to be, you'll get it when it's your slot.
